Lately we’ve been shopping sofa tables for renovation projects and staging, and our mid-century modern obsession isn’t always the right aesthetic — we’re finding oursevles needing that perfect rustic ranch style or farmhouse piece to complete the look.
About Sofa Tables
From Home Designing: A sofa table is a long and narrow table used to display decor, add intrigue, or incorporate storage. Similar to a console table, they generally stand around 30 inches—higher than a coffee table, yet shorter than a chest of drawers. However, sofa tables certainly aren’t a new concept, as they date back to the late 1700s. While traditionally they were long dropleaf tables used in front of sofas, today you will often find them without a dropleaf and placed against the back of a couch.
They’ve put together an impressive list of different styles, shapes, and materials. Here are a few of our favorite examples.
